Description
This Arno Bernard “Jackal” has a beautiful natural wart hog tooth ivory handle. Being the patriarch that began AB knives, Mr. Bernard still hand makes custom knives on his own. Note the logo on the blade differs from the more production made AB company knives.
Stabilized and enhanced with color, this wart hog ivory handle material gives it this very unique look. You can see the lovely color variations between the cementum enamel and the more ivory colored dentine.
A hand rubbed satin finish has been applied to the 3½” N690 blade. The full tang on this blade brings the overall length to 7” making it a perfect size for an all-around knife. The bovine leather sheath is equal in quality to the knife. Together they make this an exceptionally built and finely finished set.
The natural beauty of this handle makes this Arno Bernard Jackal style hunter a gorgeous piece for any collector. Sadly the rich color means that this knife cannot be embellished with artwork, but I think it stands out as unique and would be a one of a kind addition to any knife collection.
