This Ray Beers “Palm Knife” sports a drop tip blade with a deep belly and a stubby blade but smaller than most models. In mint condition, this 6.69-inch knife has a full tang 3.19 inch blade of 440C stainless steel, polished to a mirror shine. The handle is 3.5 inches long and made of Westinghouse paper micarta with a rich golden hue. The unique shape is a Ray Beers staple and fits beautifully in the hand. This knife size would be perfect for anyone looking for a fixed blade for everyday carry. These knives include full-grain cowhide sheaths, hand constructed by the maker. These knives are numbered 3 & 4 of a limited ten knife set.
Sadly, Mr. Beers passed away in 2021. This means that these two knives are likely to be your only opportunity to own a stunning piece of craftsmanship by a legendary knifemaker.
These knives are excellent candidates for artistic embellishment. Contact me today and we can discuss how to make this uncommon knife a once in a lifetime collectable. Check out my Gallery page for inspiration!
