Silent Ambush

The leopards’ camouflaged coat easily allows her to hide in plain sight. Dappled sunlight coming thru the branches are the perfect cover, and large padded feet assure that this cat will have the silent advantage over unwary prey.  Her emerald green eyes are locked on target and you can feel the tension in her legs as she prepares to pounce.  In the background, a second leopard lounges on a tree branch only slightly curious about what the first spies.

Silent Ambush is etched on a unique piece of ancient mammoth tusk. The outermost browns of the bark ivory yield to the natural blue-green stripes which then morph into the beautiful creamy beige that makes mammoth ivory the most beautiful and unique canvas.   Mounted on a walnut base, this piece stands 7″tall. The  fossil walrus ivory plaque finishes off this one of a kind art piece.
